I am a Montreal-based photographer with a creative mind. I am inspired by my surroundings, like landscapes and city life. My background and training in parkour also shapes my approach to taking pictures: I have a unique understanding of parkour movement, where I can visualize an athlete’s air form. This skill helps me set up for a shot in a way that nicely captures the motion. Still, I don’t consider myself a specialist in one style of photography.

I admire the work of David Yarrow, Chris Burkard and Jay Maisel, who inspired me to pursue photography as a career choice. Their work has opened up the possibility of an adventure lifestyle (e.g., travelling to locations, learning about different cultures). During my travels, I have found that a camera allows you to slow down and enjoy scenery that you would otherwise pass by or glance over- you can notice more details this way. I also like the idea of sharing adventures with people through photography: It’s one way of allowing others to discover places digitally and to inspire their travels.
